How to Wear Your Hood

• Place the hood over your head with the velvet side facing up. The shorter, pointed end sits at the front of your neck, while the rounded end drapes behind your back.
• Adjust the front so it rests smoothly under the chin and across the shoulders.
• Secure the small front loop onto your gown zipper or clothing. A safety pin can help keep it in place.
• Ask a friend or staff member to help position the back neatly.
• Turn out the inner lining at the back by gently rolling the fabric to reveal the colors and chevron. Smooth the lower portion so it lays flat against the gown.
