This 2 inch die-struck medal is bordered with a method of scalloping that is identical to diamond cut engraving. It comes in multiple colors and can be engraved or imprinted only on the back face, as the front face is occupied by a design depicting an open book in front of a gleaming torch, and the words 'In Honor of Academic Excellence' stamped around the inner perimeter of the medal. This medal is available only in gold.
